NAVPLG leaves its mark at NCVS in Chicago!

NAVPLG had an outstanding meeting and social event in Chicago at the National Conference on Volunteering & Service on June 18-20.  At our meeting on June 18, NAVPLG presented two awards:  Robin Popek from Plano, Texas received the outstanding Volunteer Administrator Award and Volunteer!Decatur, Georgia, represented by LeeAnn Harvey, was presented the Innovative Program Award.  Details on both recipients are in this issue.

2012 Award Winners

Robin Popik (on the left) from Plano, Texas was awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Administrator Award.  During Robin's 22 years of leadership, Volunteeers in Plano (VIP) has become an example of the finest in local government volunteer efforts; earning a reputation for outstanding service, and quality programs while saving money and time.
