Take aways from NCVS

Volunteering at the Conference by Kay Sibetta

As an evaluation volunteer at the NCVS Conference, my responsibility was to encourage other attendees to evaluate the workshops they attended using the digital lounge(s) set up strategically around the center. Attendees had the chance to win a $400 Hewlett Packard gift card or a 2014 NCVS registration. I met some interesting people along the way. Guess who came along and we had a picture taken with him – JR Martinez one of the conference’s guest speakers and winner of Dancing with the Stars. I’m definitely volunteering again for 2014 and look forward to meeting new colleagues from around the country and you never know who else. See you at 2014 NCVS in Atlanta.
