Spotlight on Member Agencies -- Lynn County Sheriff's Office

Cathy Morris

In fact, most of the current volunteers began their volunteer service by attending the Academy and then volunteering to serve.

Volunteers serve in our records department, medical programs in the jail, reception/host at community substations, provide traffic support, emergency preparedness presentations, community emergency response teams, posse, amateur radio, reserve deputy and other areas.  Sheriff Mueller says that if there is someone that wants to volunteer with our Office, we will find a place for them that fits both of our needs.

Our volunteer programs and our volunteers provide a win-win situation for both our Office and the volunteer.  Our Office would not be able to continue the level of service we provide without volunteer support.  For more information, please email Cathy Morris
